Specter switches parties

Veteran Sen. Arlen Specter, R-Pennsylvania, switched from the Republican to the Democratic party today.

This switch gave Democrats 59 seats in the U.S. Senate and if Al Franken wins the Minnesota Senate seat, Democrats will have a filibuster-proof 60 seat majority in the Senate.

What do you think about Specter’s switch? What does it mean for Congress? Share your thoughts on video and you could be featured on CNN.
