Southern California is expected to receive several inches of rain this week, with as much as 20 inches in areas close to the mountains. Officials say flooding and mudslides could be a dangerous threat in an area devastated by last summer’s wildfires. Barriers and sandbags have been placed around homes and streets, and officials have closed several major roads in the suburbs of Los Angeles. They'll remain closed until the storms pass.
Do you live in the area of California being hit by the storms? How have you prepared? Has there been any flooding or damage in your area? Share your photos and video. Please be sure not to place yourself in a dangerous situation.
