Your take on the Apple iPad

Apple unveiled a new touch screen device Wednesday that CEO Steve Jobs has reportedly called “the most important thing I’ve ever done.” The tablet device has a touch screen, serves as an e-reader, plays videos and music and runs iPhone apps. Some publishers of books, magazines and newspapers think the device could give a boost to their beleaguered industries.

We want to know what you think. Are you excited about the Apple iPad? Would you buy one? If you buy one, will you get rid of your other devices? Will the tablet device be a “game changer”, saving the publishing industry? Will it live up to the hype? Or will it be a disappointment? Share your thoughts with us.
