Time-lapse video

We've all seen them in the movies, those fast-motion videos that boil hours and hours down to a few seconds. This weekend, we're going to try to make our own. Let's see a time-lapse video from where you live: a few hours in the life of your town. It can be your favorite city scene, your own street, or something else.

CNNI's World One wants to see your timelapses and use them on the show, which airs Monday through Thursday at 8:30 p.m. London time.Share your time-lapse video here and you could very well be part of the show.

Tips for shooting a good time-lapse:
1 - Leave the camera on a tripod and do not move the tripod or operate the zoom while recording.
2 - Record for a minimum of 30 minutes.
3 - Choose a panoramic style shot.

4 - Do not touch, shake or bump the camera until finished.
