How can we balance progress and conservation?

For people looking to reduce their carbon footprint and avoid their reliance on fossil fuels, going “off-grid” has become a viable option. This movement involves producing your own sustainable energy instead of relying on public utilities.

Calling all eco-friendly folks: We’d like you to take us around your home and show us how you efficiently use energy. Whether its solar panels to generate power or rain basins to capture water, how do you use energy in a green way?

Grab a video camera and talk us through your renewable energy set-up, or snap some photos of your green ways. Your stories could be featured on CNNI’s show “Earth's Frontiers.”
