In 2005, Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast. Today, some areas have rebuilt while others remain virtually unchanged. CNN producers and iReporters collaborated to create a past-meets-present photography project to show what the region looks like today.
Below, you can see dozens of submissions to this project. Each photo is different and tells a story about Katrina's wrath. You can also find out how and why we used this photography style on the iReport blog.
