Combat mission ends in Iraq

President Obama gave an Oval Office speech on Tuesday to discuss the official end of the United States' combat mission in Iraq.

 

The number of U.S. troops in Iraq is now at the lowest level since the war started in 2003, but about 50,000 U.S. troops will remain in the country until the end of next year.

 

We want to hear from those of you directly affected by the war in Iraq. If you or a loved one have previously served or are currently serving the U.S. military in Iraq, please tell us what you think of the speech and let us know how the new policy will affect your life.
