One of the biggest challenges when shooting a photo is how to quickly get to the heart of the story without explanation or embellishment. So that’s what we’d like to focus on this week: Using the composition skills you learned here to tell a story in photos.
Here’s your challenge: Pick a compelling story – anything you want – and tell it in just three pictures. One wide shot, one medium, and one tight. No more, no less. Try to show the elements of your story in the pictures rather than relying on the text for explanation. The viewer should be able to tell what your story is about just by looking at the images.
