Riots erupt in Ecuador

Violence erupted in Ecuador early Thursday when police officers took to the streets, claiming a new law would take away their bonuses and reduce their compensation. The protests eventually turned violent, injuring at least 88 people, and police allegedly kidnapped President Rafael Correa in an attempted coup, attempting to force him to revoke the law.

If you are in Ecuador, we want to hear from you. How are the riots affecting you? Share your photos and videos of the protests, but please stay safe.
