Cultural census: Your self-portrait

Create a self-portrait. It must be a photograph, and it must show your face, but those are the only requirements! You can get creative with your setting, lighting, framing, and other aspects of the picture. Shoot it yourself or have a friend shoot it for you (no professional photographs, please). Just make sure that it shows off, in some way, who you are. Check out photo tips from CNN photo director Mark Hill for inspiration and guidance.

When you're done, please take a moment to fill out this quick survey. This will help us classify your iReport and place it on a map. (You only need to fill out the survey once, so if you've already done it as part of another assignment, you do not need to complete it again.)

This is project #1 in iReport's Cultural Census.
