What I Know: Complex migraines

A Los Angeles TV reporter garbled her words during a report on the Grammys,  which was scary to see and, of course, even scarier for her. Her diagnosis: Migraine with aura. A severe headache accompanied by sensory symptoms that can include blind spots, light flashes and tingling extremities.

Do you get these so-called complex migraines? Do you recognize warning signs that let you prepare a little? What’s the pain like, and what do you do for relief?

Be our expert adviser. Tell us what you’ve learned about life with complex migraines that might help someone who’s having one for the first time? Share your advice on how you cope on video or in writing. We may use your stories in an article on CNN.com.
