Tornado season

The 2011 spring tornado season is already one of the deadliest on record and powerful storms have devastated cities and towns across the southern and central United States.

 

The National Weather Service reports that there have already been at least 500 storm-related deaths in 2011, the worst since 1953.

 

If tornadoes are reported near you, please take shelter immediately. Severe storms can be unpredictable and dangerous.

 

If you do witness a tornado, please share your stories, photos and videos and let us know how the storm affected your area.
