After dark in Southeast Asia

After dark, many of Southeast Asia's cities undergo a complete transformation.

Dusty, empty streets light up with roadside vendors selling steaming bowls of noodles. Night markets are erected and quickly fill with local and visiting shoppers. Well-lit temples go quiet.

In cities like Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Singapore, the skyline becomes a photographers' playground when the sun goes down, providing ample opportunity to capture the energy and vibrancy of the city in a single shot.

In this assignment, we want to see your favorite Southeast Asia night shot. Tell us where it was taken and why you love it.

The best photos will be featured in a gallery on CNNGo.
