Animals in fashion

From 1980s-style leopard and zebra print to the three-wolf moon tee, animals have had a presence in fashion for years. On this spring’s runways, we saw birds fluttering over floaty chiffon and prints featuring everything from horses to flamingos. So we want to know: What’s your favorite way to incorporate animals into your style?

As part of our story on the evolution of animals in fashion, we wanted to know how you wear them. And no, we’re not talking fur. We’re talking about fashion inspired by animals, which you can see on iReport's fashion pin board on Pinterest.

iReporters sent in photos of their classic leopard-print pumps and imagines of their quirky t-shirts embellished with images of cats to an allover print of woodland creatures. We even had iReporters and Esty store owners send in photos of their animal inspired outfits.

Check out the evolution of the this style trend and see the how fashionable animals can be on the story: " Lions, tigers and bears -- oh, my outfit!"
