Millions of Muslims from across the world have begun taking part in the annual Hajj, or pilgrimage, in Saudi Arabia.
The Hajj is a spiritual as well as physical journey considered one of the five pillars of Islam, and one that that every Muslim is expected to perform in their lifetime provided they are healthy and financially capable.
We want to hear from people who have performed the Hajj and who are there now. What were your experiences and how did it impact your life both physically and spiritually? What would your advice be for those going for the first time?
Send CNN iReport a brief video sharing your advice and memories of the Hajj. Your responses may form part of CNN's coverage.
This assignment has now closed. Many thanks for your thoughtful and inspirational iReports, some of which were used in this piece 'Five life lessons from the Hajj' on CNN's Belief blog.
