Floods in Nigeria

Several parts of Nigeria have been devastated by flooding in recent weeks, with dozens of people killed, thousands more displaced and large swaths of vital cropland destroyed.

 

The flooding, considered the worst in decades, has largely affected the country's central states where much of its vital agriculture is based.

 

The government which has declared a "national disaster". has released state funds and appointed a committee to handle the crisis.

 

Have you been affected by the flooding in Nigeria? How is your community coping? Are floodwaters still bad or are they receding? Send us your images and videos, but please do not put yourself in danger.
