Same-sex marriage hearings: Your thoughts

Who has the right to say "I do"? The Supreme Court is hearing arguments on Tuesday on a California case that said same-sex couples can't marry. And on Wednesday, it will hear another case involving the federal Defense of Marriage Act.

 

While the court is unlikely to announce its decision until June, we could get a sense of which way the decision will go.

 

How do you feel about this issue and how does it affect you? Do think this is an issue best left to the states? Or would you like to see an amendment to the constitution either legalizing or banning LGBT marriages?
