Former U.S. President George H.W. Bush was recently released from an intensive care unit at a hospital in Houston, Texas, with a fever, his spokesman says.
As 41st president of the United States, from 1989 to 1993, Bush deployed U.S. troops against former Iraqi president Saddam Hussein in the 1991 Gulf War, after Iraq invaded the oil rich Gulf state of Kuwait. In the U.S, he signed the Americans with Disabilities Act into law.
What is your take on the presidency of George H.W. Bush? Did you vote for him? Did you ever meet him? What did you think about his administration, and what it meant for the U.S. and the world?
