Obama's inauguration: In the crowd

President Obama will be sworn in to office for the second time on the steps of the Capitol on Monday, January 21. The event isn't expected to be on the scale of his 2009 inauguration, but still, thousands of supporters and tourists will attend the ceremony, following parade, and two inaugural balls. CNN iReport and Instagram are teaming up profile some of the faces in the crowd.

Are you attending the inauguration, parade, or a related event? We want to know why you think it's important to be there. Here's what to do:

1. Grab your phone and snap a photo of yourself (or have a friend shoot one) in the crowd or in front of a Washington, D.C. landmark.

2. Upload the photo here, and in the text, tell us why you're attending the inauguration.

The best photos and stories will be featured on CNN's special inauguration coverage. You can also submit via Instagram by tagging your photo #cnn.
