Millions of girls face obstacles to education that boys do not, but the power of education can change a girl and even the world.

 

CNN Films' "Girl Rising," airing in June, follows nine remarkable girls in nine countries in their quest for an education. Throughout the year, CNN will highlight their story and the stories of other girls and women across the world making a difference in education.
