Play at work

In the modern workplace, there’s an increased focus on something that’s long been seen as the opposite of work: play. From the slide at YouTube headquarters to company-funded happy hours to’s own game room, workplaces are jumping on the trend of making work fun. The idea is that play increases creativity, fosters teamwork and even boosts productivity.

Has your workplace (or a place you worked in the past) joined the play trend? We want to hear from you. What kinds of activities or amenities did your company provide? Did anyone ever use them? Do you think they made a difference in the atmosphere or the quality of work being done?

Share your experiences with play at work and you could be featured in a story for and Mashable.
